The dancer issued a huge blow to the comedian as he suggested his off-the-cuff remarks "could be funnier". In an exclusive interview to Express.co.uk on behalf of Paddy Power, he said, “I like Josh's little comments and little jokes. They could be funnier, to be honest, because I expect him to be. If I had to have a little criticism, it's before they announce the next couple, whatever lines or jokes they make.
“Back in my days, we had Bruce Forsyth making jokes before the couple started, and they were a bit funnier. I think that's the only thing I would say: those jokes could be made a bit funnier.”
