Detailed summary

Saudi-led coalition air strikes in Yemen's capital Sanaa have killed at least 25 civilians, the Houthi militia say.

Air strikes in a town near the Yemeni capital Sanaa has killed 25 people and wounded 30 others, mostly women and children, a spokesman for the Houthi-run health ministry says.

Spokesman Anees Alasbahi accused Saudi Arabia of carrying out the strikes in the village of al-Shariya.

He said civilians were still buried under the rubble of houses hit in the strikes and that subsequent strikes targeted emergency workers as they tried to pull survivors out of the wreckage.

The Houthi-run TV broadcaster al-Masirah earlier reported 22 were killed after Saudi jets struck houses in the Bani Hushaysh district in Sanaa that are controlled by the militia.
