Salihu Yakubu Danladi, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Kwara State, on Friday pledged to sustain and build on the achievements of Gov. Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq if elected governor in 2027.
Danladi, popularly known as SYD, gave the assurance during an interaction with members of the Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Kwara State Council, at the News Keg programme, held in Ilorin Kwara State.
He described the Abdulrazaq administration as having laid a solid foundation for the state’s development, which he said should be consolidated rather than reversed.
The former Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly said his legislative experience, understanding of the state’s budgeting process and familiarity with its development challenges had prepared him for the task of governance.
