Full list of Lloyds and Halifax banks shutting this month and into 2027

Lloyds Banking Group has confirmed plans to shut 250 locations across its banking network, including Halifax and the Bank of Scotland, throughout 2026 and 2027.

Lloyds Banking Group has confirmed plans to shut more UK high street branches as part of a move to close 250 locations in 2026 and 2027.

More than 20 Lloyds Bank branches shut in October, while a further 31 locations were closed across the country earlier in the year.

Lloyds Banking Group is also closing branches of its other franchises, including Halifax, while the Bank of Scotland saw four closures earlier in the year.

Over a dozen Lloyds branches will close this month and next, followed by another 14 in 2027. Meanwhile, 14 Halifax locations will close by the end of the year, with another six closures planned for 2027.
