Actor-turned-singer Ziaul Faruq Apurba is set to perform in Florida, following the success of his first solo concert in New York earlier this year.

Held in August at the Jamaica Performing Arts Centre, the show, titled “Apurba Live Musical Night”, saw the actor entertain audiences for nearly two hours with a mix of songs and personal anecdotes. Following the response to the New York event, he is now preparing for another performance in the United States.

At his debut concert, Apurba performed several popular Bangla songs, including Hemanta Mukherjee’s “Ei Raat Tomar Amar”, Souls’ “Mon Shudhu Mon Chuyeche” and “Keno Ei Nishongota”, Bappa Mazumder’s “Din Bari Jay”, Feedback’s “Moushumi” and Nagar Baul James’s “Baba”.

After the New York show, Apurba had hinted at plans for more performances across the United States, revealing that he had received concert proposals from 12 cities.
