Tottenham player ratings vs Leeds: Flop defender lucky not to be sent off
Detailed summary
Spurs’ winning run ends ahead of the international break
Noah Okafor came off the bench to end Tottenham’s winning run and secure a 1-0 win for Leeds in the early kick-off at Elland Road.
A feisty encounter looked to be heading for a stalemate before Okafor collected a loose ball inside the area and fired home to break the deadlock for Leeds in the 79th minute.
His long passes allowed Spurs to break Leeds’ press and helped them weather an early wave of pressure from the hosts. Produced a wonderful save to deny Longstaff late on.
Tried to get things ticking in the final third, routinely getting into good crossing positions, but his deliveries were inconsistent. Lucky not to see red when committing a foul on Nmecha.
