The value of Abu Dhabi's real estate transactions jumped by more than three quarters in the first nine months of 2026, as the sector maintains its momentum amid the uncertainties caused by the war in Iran.

Transactions worth Dh171.26 billion ($46.6 billion) were recorded in the period through the end of September, which is a more than 76 per cent annual growth, the Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre said on Saturday.

Total transactions rose by nearly a third to 38,483, with sales more than doubling to nearly Dh120 billion on transactions that grew by almost 50 per cent to 23,749, Adrec said. Fifty-four new developments were approved during the period, while licences issued to real estate professionals increased by a third.

Mortgage activity generated revenue of about Dh46 billion, a more than 30 per cent year-on-year increase, as transactions grew by 13.2 per cent.
